Building lasting solutions begins with informed communities.

Over the course of three days, the Centre for Human Dignity and Peace Initiative Foundation (CHDPI), in partnership with GISCOR and with funding support from UNHCR, facilitated Durable Solutions Information Sessions across communities in #Abbaganaram, #MMC LGA, Borno State.

Through interactive sessions and community engagement, participants gained vital information on durable solutions pathways, protection principles, available support services, and referral mechanisms for internally displaced persons (IDPs), returnees, and host communities.

The sessions strengthened community awareness and promoted informed, voluntary, and dignified decision-making, ensuring individuals and families understand the services available to support their journey toward sustainable solutions.

By bringing critical information closer to affected populations, CHDPI is fostering social cohesion, strengthening community resilience, and advancing pathways to safety, inclusion, and long-term recovery.
